С КПД 89%: УВЗ разработал новый электродвигатель

Serial production is scheduled for 2025

Uralvagonzavod (UVZ) has developed a new electric motor with an efficiency of 89% for onboard air conditioning systems. The need for such devices is estimated at hundreds of thousands of units. This was reported in the press service of the enterprise.

Earlier, UVZ presented the first version of an electric motor with a classic magnetic system design. The magnets in it are located around the rotor, and it showed an efficiency of 82%.

After preliminary tests, the rotor design was revised, resulting in a more technologically advanced and energy-efficient solution with integrated magnets. At the request of potential customers, the possibility of installing a feedback sensor — a Hall sensor, an electronic control unit integrated into the electric motor housing — was provided.

Currently, a prototype of the electric motor is undergoing testing at one of the customers. Serial production of the new product is scheduled for 2025. The company plans to develop new modifications powered by 12V and 24V DC, as well as 230V AC.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that domestic electric motor tests for drones were successfully conducted in Ufa.
