Бойцы Балтийского флота сбили беспилотники противника под Калининградом

Baltic Fleet's electronic warfare units practiced protection against UAVs and radio-controlled landmines

Electronic warfare (EW) units of the Baltic Fleet, during scheduled exercises, practiced protecting facilities from the detonation of radio-controlled landmines and attacks by enemy drones in the Kaliningrad region, the fleet's press service reported.

According to the training scenario, the enemy installed radio-controlled landmines along the route of the convoy. Upon arrival in the designated area, a mobile EW group, crews of automated jamming stations took up positions and deployed small-sized systems, which prevented the detonation of explosive devices.

In addition, during the combat training event, a mobile EW group to combat UAVs used reconnaissance against enemy strike and reconnaissance drones.

With the help of detection forces, the military personnel recorded "enemy" UAVs, after which they suppressed them, thereby covering the facilities and positions of their units.
