In the near future, Belarus plans to start producing its own minivan. The "Brestmash" plant is going to produce a seven-seater car in two modifications: with an internal combustion engine and an electric motor.
Currently, the "Brestmash" enterprise, owned by the "Minsk Automobile Plant", has established the production of light commercial vehicles of the MAZ-281 and 365 brands. These models are updated versions of the JAC Sunray and Gazelle Next cars.
Earlier, Belarus started supplying MAZ-281120 Lira minibuses, created on the basis of the Gazelle. The production of these cars is carried out at the Brestmash plant in Brest. Two options are available: a 22-seater minibus and an all-metal van, which are assembled from components of both Belarusian and Russian production.
