A Superjet 100 plane returned to the Mineralnye Vody airport on the afternoon of December 1 after takeoff. Investigators from the Investigative Committee of Russia have begun establishing the causes of the emergency, according to the Western Interregional Investigation Department for Transport (ZMMSUT).
The Investigative Committee has organized a set of verification activities aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
On Sunday morning, a Sukhoi Superjet 100-95 aircraft, operating flight Mineralnye Vody - Sochi, returned to the departure airport. The preliminary cause was the triggering of a fuel filter malfunction sensor.
There were 4 crew members and 101 passengers on board, and no one was injured.
