The Russian private space company "Sputniks", part of Sitronics Group, has presented a new educational and laboratory model of a lunar base, developed for space classes and robotics schools. According to the press service of Sitronics Group, the created laboratory complex NEMEYA is a multifunctional platform that can be adapted to various tasks.
The lunar base model includes communication, power supply, water supply, lighting, a living module, a greenhouse, a central computer, a rover with a manipulator, a charging station, and solar panels. The complex supports programming using both built-in blocks and custom solutions in Python, allowing for various tasks.
In addition to the model, methodological materials and a training program are included. The new complex is designed for schoolchildren and helps to study 3D modeling, programming, robotics, astronautics, and biology. It also provides the ability to create additional elements of the base, such as craters or modules, using a 3D printer, using ready-made digital models or developing their own.
According to the CEO of the company, Vladislav Ivanenko, the complex allows future specialists to immerse themselves in the basics of the aerospace profession, deepening interest in science and space. He emphasized that the study and exploration of new planets and their satellites will become key tasks for future generations of researchers.
"Sputniks" is actively developing educational programs in the field of space, creating satellite kits, specialized software and equipment. The new NEMEYA lunar base model complements this line, allowing to simulate complex missions, including data transmission from interplanetary spacecraft through satellites to ground control centers.
