ПАО «Яковлев»: Россия локализовала ремонт 311 компонентов SSJ-100

The intensity of operation of the fleet of these aircraft is growing, and it already exceeds pre-pandemic levels

Over the past two years, Russia has increased the level of import substitution for the repair of foreign components of the SSJ-100 fivefold. This became known at the annual conference of SSJ-100 operators, which was held in Moscow.

Thus, in February 2022, Russia produced maintenance for 59 components of the aircraft, and by November 2024, maintenance for 311 components had already been mastered.

Currently, according to the aircraft developer, PJSC "Yakovlev", 159 SSJ-100 of various modifications are in operation with seven Russian airlines. Since the beginning of operation, they have performed more than 1,745,000 flight hours and conducted more than 977 thousand flights.

At the same time, in the 3rd quarter of 2024, four airlines had an average daily flight time per aircraft of more than 8 hours.

Despite the complete cessation of cooperation with Western manufacturers, our performance indicators after 2022 did not decline, and the regularity of SSJ-100 flights still remains in the region of 97-98%. At the same time, the intensity of fleet operation is growing, in 2022-2023 and even for 9 months of 2024 it exceeds pre-pandemic levels.

The throughput capacity of enterprises working with maintenance of aircraft units is also growing. PJSC "Yakovlev" noted that in Russia, over two and a half years, the necessary legislative framework has been created and design support has been organized for the operation of foreign components by specialized domestic developers of aviation equipment. In February 2022, the number of products with such support was zero, and by November 2024 it is already 214 components.
