Московским студентам разрешили расплачиваться за проезд улыбкой

Biometric capabilities expanded in the capital

The range of payment methods using biometric data is expanding in the capital. According to the Moscow Department of Transport, students can now pay for travel on the metro and the MCC with a smile.

The head of the Department of Transport, Maxim Liksutov, said that more than 550 thousand students of Moscow universities will be able to use the fare payment service using biometric data. You can activate a new payment method in the personal account of the "Moscow Metro" application. You can also link a Muscovite card to it and purchase a subscription online.

The biometric payment system is an innovative solution developed in Russia. It provides a high level of security, as all passenger data is securely protected. You no longer need to use cards, phones or wallets to pass through the turnstile.

We continue to introduce digital technologies in urban transport to make passenger trips even more comfortable.
