The Novouralsk enterprise of the fuel company (part of Rosatom Group) has tested the operation of a prototype mass spectrometer of the MTI series. This was reported by the press service of the state corporation.
The new device is distinguished by unique analytical characteristics, high reliability, measurement accuracy, long service life in industrial conditions – up to 10 years, user-friendly interface and modern design.
The device allows analyzing the isotopic composition of impurities in the gas phase. The mass spectrometer is operated by special software. It makes it possible to continuously take measurements and configure the device without operator intervention.
Earlier www1.ru reported that software for domestic tandem mass spectrometer will be developed in Moscow.
