The head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, stated that the auto giant is satisfied with car exports this year. It is planned that about 20 thousand cars will be delivered abroad by the end of 2024. But next year, VAZ plans to increase supplies by at least 50%.
Volumes have not yet reached the record levels of the Soviet Union, after a sharp drop in 2022-2023, when exports practically stopped and only a few thousand cars were shipped, we are now increasing volumes.
Speaking at the "Transport of Russia" forum, the head of the auto giant said that next year it is planned to increase exports by 50%, mainly due to Belarus, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
But AvtoVAZ has grandiose plans in general. The company intends to sell its products in Latin America, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
