На новой станции московского метро «ЗИЛ» установили 45-метровое панно об истории завода «ЗИЛ»

The ZIL Station of the Troitskaya Metro Line for Residents of New Moscow is Already 76% Ready and Will Open in 2025

The Moscow Department of Construction of Transport and Engineering Infrastructure shared how the construction of the ZIL station on the new Troitskaya metro line is progressing. Builders have completed the installation of panels on the track walls and installed a distinctive sign of the future station: a historical panel about the ZIL plant. The author of the large-scale work about the life of the world-famous enterprise is the People's Artist of Russia, Alexander Rukavishnikov.

Passengers of the metro will see images of trucks and other products of the plant at this station, as well as workers and engineers of ZIL from different eras of its activity.

The composition, 45 meters long and 6.4 meters high, is made of multi-layered aluminum panels with a top layer of triplex. The artistic concept of the project illustrates the history of one of the symbols of Soviet mechanical engineering - the Likhachev plant - from its origins to the present day. Today, the readiness of the ZIL station is 76%.
Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction

The main structures of the ZIL station platform are already ready, and work is currently underway on the architectural finishing of the passenger area and technical rooms.

Earlier in early November, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin visited the under-construction ZIL station. He was pleased with the progress of the work and spoke about plans for the development of this infrastructure facility.

Initially, we planned to bring the Troitskaya line to the BCL. But then we decided to extend it to connect with the MCC. This will allow for much better integration of the new branch into the network of наземного and underground metro. ZIL is a transfer station to the MCC stations of the same name and, in the future, to the Biryulyovskaya line. Together they form a large city station, the formation of which we will complete in 2028.
Sergei Sobyanin, Mayor of Moscow

The ZIL station of the Troitskaya metro line was designed with two lobbies. From the first, it will be possible to go to Lisitsky Street, Likhachev Avenue, Tyufeleva Roshcha Park, residential areas and public transport stops. The second lobby, as the mayor noted, will be combined with the Biryulyovskaya metro line in the future.

Troitskaya Metro Line

The Troitskaya metro line is the sixteenth line of the Moscow Metro. It will become one of the longest in the capital: it will include 17 stations. The first four stations of the branch - Novatorskaya, Peoples' Friendship University, General Tyuleneva and Tyutchevskaya - have already opened in early September for the City Day.

Two more sections of the metro line are currently under construction: Tyutchevskaya - Novomoskovskaya and Novatorskaya - ZIL.
