The Russian army has the latest self-propelled artillery mounts (SPG) "Koalitsiya-SV". The artillery complex on the battlefield has confirmed all the characteristics laid down by the developers.
Rostec noted that the self-propelled gun has advantages over Western artillery models in terms of firing range. The system will take the combat capabilities of Russian artillery to a new level.
The latest "Koalitsiya-SV" SPG is equipped with a 2A88 152 mm caliber gun with a rate of fire of more than 10 rounds/min, as well as an advanced system for automating the processes of aiming the gun, navigation and target selection.
The howitzer is based on the T-90 tank platform and is designed to engage the entire range of ground targets: communication hubs, command posts, mortar and artillery batteries, air defense and missile defense systems, armored vehicles, as well as enemy manpower at a distance of up to 70 km.
The commander's and gunner's stations of the "Koalitsiya-SV" are equipped with digital displays and integrated into a unified automated tactical control system. It allows for round-the-clock surveillance of the area, receiving target designations via a digital communication channel, and adjusting fire in all weather conditions.
