Investments in AvtoVAZ for 2024 to Exceed 45 Billion Rubles

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov tested a prototype of the LADA e-Aura electric vehicle and held a meeting of the Board of Directors of AvtoVAZ.

Following the meeting, it was announced that the company's investment program for 2024 will exceed 45 billion rubles, despite the current sanctions. During the meeting, it was also announced that mass production of the new LADA Iskra car will begin in the spring.

In addition to testing the electric vehicle, Manturov reviewed the preliminary results of AvtoVAZ's activities for the current year. Production plans for 2024 include the production of 500,000 LADA cars, which will be a record figure for the company in the last ten years. During the meeting, the plan for 2025 was approved, which also includes the production of 500,000 cars, with an emphasis on investments in automotive projects and the development of production facilities.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted the company's success in ensuring technological sovereignty. Today, more than 80% of AvtoVAZ's suppliers are Russian companies, which contributes to a high degree of product localization. The average level of localization for the LADA model range is 4500 points — the maximum figure in the domestic automotive industry.
