Russian anti-aircraft missile and gun systems "Pantsir-S1/CM" on the front lines need to be equipped with advanced transport-combat vehicles (TBM) 72V6MT. They are capable of solving two main problems of single SAM systems 96K6 and batteries "Pantsir-S1/CM", experts of the Telegram channel @RussianArms noted.
They noted that thanks to this measure, it will be possible to overcome the rapid depletion of ammunition, represented by two six-round transport-launch modules with 12 anti-aircraft missiles 57E6/M on each combat vehicle.
The problem of having only three target channels per radar guidance module 1RS2 and 1 target channel per multispectral optoelectronic module 10ES1 will also be solved - a total of 4 target channels.
TBM 72V6MT retained the target tracking radar 1RS2-1/3 and the optoelectronic module 10ES1, which receive target designation from the radar of the SOC of the head combat vehicle "Pantsir-S1/CM". As a result, such an anti-aircraft missile tandem can boast 8 target channels and a fire performance of up to 24 targets per minute.
Ammunition reaches 36 anti-aircraft missiles 57E6M, or 144 small-sized highly maneuverable SAMs 19Ya6 with a range of up to 10 km for intercepting rockets and UAVs.
