"Storm in a Teacup": German Car Brands Want to Return to Russia

European car manufacturers are hampered by sanctions

The head of the consulting company Schneider Group, Ulf Schneider, stated that German automakers should return to the Russian market, otherwise Chinese companies will take it over. We tell you if this is possible.

We must be careful not to lose for a long time some markets that we have sanctioned.
Ulf Schneider

Auto journalist Maxim Kadakov is sure that Schneider's statement will only cause a "storm in a teacup." According to him, the fact is that German companies would be happy to return to Russia, but they cannot do this because of sanctions. No trade will be possible until the European Union removes the restrictions. This process, if it ever happens, will not be quick.

Kadakov emphasizes that domestic dealers will be happy to sell German cars again. There is still demand for them in the country, despite the increased prices.

Earlier www1.ru wrote that the Russian government is skeptical about the return of European car manufacturers.
