Russian 'daughters' of global car manufacturers Hyundai, Toyota and Nissan have published financial statements, which show that for 2022 their total net loss amounted to 57 billion rubles.
Toyota had a record loss by Russian accounting standards - for 2022 its size exceeded 32 billion rubles. The second largest loss in the Russian automotive industry was at the Hyundai plant - it amounted to 19 billion rubles. The Nissan factory recorded a net loss of just over 6 billion rubles in its reports for 2022. The total revenue of the three plants for the year collapsed fourfold - from 639.2 billion rubles in 2021 to 157.6 billion rubles in 2022.
