The Sukhoi Company (part of UAC) is developing the fifth-generation light fighter Su-75. The new single-engine machine will be produced in single-seat, two-seat, and unmanned versions.
The fighter combines innovative technologies and solutions, including support for pilot operation by artificial intelligence, as well as proven solutions that have already proven themselves in practice.
The fighter has high flight performance and low visibility. Supercomputer technologies are widely used in the LTS Checkmate project.
The maximum combat load is 7400 kg, the flight range without external fuel tanks is 2900 km at a speed of up to 1.8 Mach, which is one of the best indicators in its class.
In a low-visibility configuration, the fighter is capable of detecting and destroying fifth-generation aircraft in close and long-range combat, effectively fighting a numerically superior enemy, and carrying up to five air-to-air missiles. Gun containers for destroying ground targets can be placed in the internal compartments of the fighter.
The machine will be equipped with one engine from the "Product 117C" (AL-41F1S) line with a afterburner thrust of 14,500 kgf, AL-41F1 with a afterburner thrust of 15,000 kgf, or "Product 30" (with a thrust of up to 18 kgf), which will provide a thrust-to-weight ratio from 0.9 to 1.25 kgf/kg, depending on the combat load and fuel mass.
The machines will receive advanced interference-protected AESA radars of the "Zhuk-MAE" type (or their version) with transceiver modules, the microwave transistors of which are placed on heat-resistant LTCC substrates.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the frigate "Admiral Golovko" with "Zircons" practiced combat operations in the English Channel.
