New footage has emerged online showing Russian Lancet loitering munitions striking German Leopard tanks. As a result of the hits, they lost the ability to move independently.
Objective control of the strikes was provided by a reconnaissance drone hovering over the tank.
The Lancet drone is manufactured by Zala Aero. It is equipped with a television communication channel and several types of guidance systems, through which the operator receives an image of the target. The loitering munition is capable of hitting targets within a radius of up to 40 km, its maximum take-off weight is 12 kg.
