В России предлагают ограничить ввоз зарубежных беспилотников

Components for UAVs from China and other countries, which Russia does not yet produce itself, will be purchased without restrictions

The need to reduce the supply of finished foreign drones to Russia was announced on the sidelines of the forum "National Technological Revolution 20.35".

There are several ways to increase the localization rate of Russian UAVs. The first is to co-finance R&D to create new solutions in the field of apparatus movement principles, power plants, navigation, communications, and computer vision. Another way is to legislate restrictions on the import of finished foreign UAVs, while not restricting the purchase of components.
Nikita Danilov, CEO of Fly Drone LLC

According to him, thanks to state support, the level of localization of Russian drone production has increased by 10% over the past year and amounts to about 30%, but most of the components for assembly are still imported from China. For example, you can now find only 5% of Russian electric motors in drones. There are still problems with import substitution of microelectronics, motors, and other technical equipment.

At the same time, Danilov emphasized that Russia has already "established the production of hulls, fuselages, and flight controllers". The country may also completely cover its needs for software solutions for drones.
