A source from "Chinese Automobiles" in the dealer community reported that the cost of the Xcite X-Cross 8 crossover in the most expensive configuration in Russia will be 3,399,000 rubles. It is noteworthy that the price is much lower than the "original" - Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max.
For comparison: the cost of all-wheel drive versions of the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max in the Dreamline and Ultimate trim levels, excluding discounts, is 3,800,000 and 4,000,000 rubles, respectively. These versions are equipped with a more powerful two-liter engine with 197 horsepower.
Dealers have already begun to supply seven-seater Xcite X-Cross 8 crossovers, which are produced in St. Petersburg.
As a reminder, the Xcite X-Cross 7 crossover appeared on the market in 2024, but its release was postponed several times. Now the same thing is happening with the Xcite X-Cross 8 model. Initially, it was planned that sales would begin on October 24, but later this date was moved to October 28, and then it was left open altogether.
Then XCITE finally officially announced the imminent release of its all-wheel drive X-Cross 8 crossover.
