The world premiere of the export version of the Russian Su-57 fifth-generation multi-role fighter took place at the Airshow China air show in Zhuhai. The combat vehicle took to the skies on the first day of the exhibition, which aroused great interest among all its participants.
The fighter showed aerobatics to the audience. At the controls was Honored Test Pilot, Hero of Russia Sergei Bogdan.
Rostec called the Su-57E the star of the Russian exposition, noting its low visibility to detection equipment and its ability to use guided high-precision weapons.
The machine has a radio-absorbing coating (stealth technology), internal fuselage armament, supersonic cruising speed, and the latest complex of onboard equipment. The intellectualization of the Su-57 systems allows it to take over some of the pilot's functions, including preparing for the use of weapons and piloting.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Western countries will not be able to catch up with Russia in the development of hypersonic technologies. This opinion was expressed by the president of the National Research Center "Kurchatov Institute" Mikhail Kovalchuk.
