Footage of a duel between a GAZ-66 truck, transformed by front-line craftsmen into an armored vehicle, and an American International Maxxpro armored vehicle has gone viral on the Web.
The GAZ-66, nicknamed "shishiga" back in the Soviet army, has changed beyond recognition thanks to a powerful "barbecue grill" - a set of circular anti-drone protection. At some point, a Maxxpro drove out onto the battlefield in front of it and opened fire.
Armed with a large-caliber machine gun, the "Broneshishiga" did not remain in debt and fired a burst in the direction of the opponent, and then a drone finished it off.
Various weapons can be installed on the Shishiga platform, including the ZU-23M-1M combat module, which can destroy targets at a range of up to 2.5 km. The sighting equipment guarantees high accuracy of use, including at night. The crew consists of an operator, two loaders and a commander.
