American multirole F-16 fighters are not capable of breaking through the Russian air defense system. This opinion was voiced by Russian pilot and member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, Konstantin Yaroshenko.
According to him, the F-16 is already considered a morally outdated machine. It has modifications, but it is a fighter-interceptor that can be used as a bomber.
Our interceptor aircraft, whether it's the MiG-31, MiG-29, and many others, I believe are an order of magnitude better. With these F-16s, breaking through our defense system will be impossible, even if they carry any cruise missiles.
