The Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant (KMZ) military-industrial holding has presented a multipurpose high-speed boat. In the near future, specialists will set up mass production of the small-sized vessel, the holding's press service reported.
The development belongs to the employees of SKB-2 (part of KMZ). The boat is equipped with a stationary power unit and a water jet propulsion unit of its own production. Compared to a propeller, the water jet gives the vessel better handling and has a low noise level.
Since the impeller is inside the hull, the water jet does not pose a danger to people nearby in the water.

- Speed — up to 60 km/h
- Range — up to 300 km
