The Russian Aerospace Forces are actively using advanced near-hypersonic anti-radar missiles Kh-58UShKE with folding wings and aerodynamic rudders. The ammunition is placed in the internal compartments of the Su-57 and Su-75 multi-functional fighters.
Military expert Evgeny Damantsev noted that equipping the missile with an advanced multi-mode inertial-navigation unit will allow the product to be used as a compact aeroballistic missile with a range of 310 - 330 km.
The inertial-navigation unit with GLONASS-correction will provide the missile with a CEP of no more than 15 - 7 m, while the active active-passive radar seeker with an additional millimeter channel will ensure the capture of radio-contrast ground targets.
Main characteristics of the Kh-58UShKE missile:
- Starting weight — 650 kg
- Warhead weight — 149 kg
- Maximum launch range — 245 km
- Maximum missile flight speed — 4 200 km/h
- Type of guidance system — platformless inertial system + wide-range passive radar homing head
- Warhead type — high-explosive
- Fuze type — non-contact
Earlier www1.ru reported that Rostec increased production of ammunition tenfold, and artillery shells – sixfold.
