The emergency rescue vessel "Kerch Strait" was delivered from the water area of the Amur Shipbuilding Plant (part of USC) to the outfitting base in Vladivostok. This was reported by the corporation's press service.
The vessel was towed from the Small Silinsky Lake to the Amur River, and then along the Sea of Japan for 22 days. In Vladivostok, the "Kerch Strait" will be completed and painted. Then, specialists will conduct tests.

The 7 MW vessel of project MPSV06 has a length of 86 meters, a width of 19 meters, and its speed is 15 knots. The vessel can be operated on the Northern Sea Route.
Purpose of the vessel:
- patrolling
- emergency rescue duty
- service in ports
- search and assistance to those in distress
- evacuation
The "Kerch Strait" can also break ice up to 1.5 m thick.
