Роскосмос может построить для Индонезии космическую инфраструктуру

Jakarta is also interested in Russian multi-satellite orbital constellations

This was announced by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Denis Manturov following a visit to Jakarta for the inauguration of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.

There are traditional areas of cooperation in the field of energy. Issues are being discussed with Rosatom on nuclear energy. The Indonesian side is interested in a dialogue with Roscosmos regarding the creation of space infrastructure in Indonesia, including participation in the creation of a multi-satellite orbital constellation.

Earlier in May 2024, the management of RCC Progress stated that Russia plans to build cosmodromes and rockets for export. According to him, the country already has foreign private and state stakeholders interested in cooperation in this direction.

Later, in August, the circle of stakeholders was outlined more specifically. Roscosmos admitted that it lost 180 billion rubles due to the termination of contracts with the West. The state corporation now intends to get out of losses and increase exports through cooperation with countries in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
