The Russian electric car "Atom" will be equipped with tires from the Italian manufacturer Pirelli from the factory.
KAMAZ PJSC reported that mass production of tires with Elect technology, specially developed for electric vehicles, will begin at the Pirelli plant in Kirov. These tires will have reduced rolling resistance, reinforced cord and sidewalls, and the recommended pressure will be 2.5 bar.
The tire size and characteristics include parameters 215/55 R17, load index 98 (up to 750 kg per tire), speed index V (up to 240 km/h), and the tire weight will be 10 kg with a permissible deviation of +/-3%. Production of the electric car "Atom" may begin in June 2025, with a basic configuration for taxis at a price of 3.1 million rubles, and for car sharing - 3.2 million rubles.
