The updated UAZ "Patriot" will be presented in Q4 2025. According to a source at the company, the flagship SUV of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant will receive an updated appearance, an improved interior, and new power units.
The main innovation is a two-liter diesel engine, similar to those produced at the Sollers plant in Alabuga and installed on other domestic models. This engine will work in tandem with a six-speed manual gearbox and an electromechanical transfer case.
The exterior will also change: the SUV will be equipped with LED optics, which will significantly improve lighting efficiency. The interior of the updated "Patriot" will also undergo modernization: the design of the front panel and central tunnel will change, and a new steering wheel with a truncated lower part and improved controls for on-board electronics will be installed.
