Since last year, unmanned long-haul trucks have been transporting goods on the M-11 highway. This year, the number of KAMAZ unmanned vehicles will increase to 18 units. It is planned to expand autonomous driving testing on the M-12 and M-4 "Don" highways.

The politician also said that KAMAZ continues to assemble hydrogen transport vehicles. This refers to an experimental truck, as well as buses. The development of a domestic electric vehicle, "Atom," is also nearing completion, Minnikhanov added.

Earlier, at the "Digital Transportation-2024" forum, the launch of unmanned cargo transport on the M-11 highway was given. During the event, Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Savelyev emphasized that without the development of a modern transport and logistics complex, neither economic growth, nor business development, nor social projects are possible. Minister of Transport Roman Starovoit called digitalization an incentive for the development of the country's economy.
