On Wednesday, September 25, the anniversary 2.5 millionth KamAZ truck rolled off the main assembly line of the auto plant in Naberezhnye Chelny. The anniversary vehicle is the flagship of the K5 model range — the KAMAZ-54901 semi-trailer truck.
The vehicle is designed for long-distance transportation. It received a new KAMAZ-910.52-460 engine of the "Euro-5" class with a capacity of 482 hp and a service life of up to 1.5 million km.
The tractor has a modern and spacious cab with two sleeping places and a flat floor, which provides an increased level of comfort for the driver's work and rest.
The 54901 model was launched five years ago. Since February 2023, KAMAZ has been producing a version of this car on a new domestic component base.
Earlier www1.ru reported that KAMAZ continues to produce new K5 generation trucks. In June, KAMAZ-54902 and KAMAZ-65658 came off the main assembly line of the enterprise.
