Sollers has improved the 2.0-liter diesel engine that will appear on the UAZ "Patriot." The engine received a crankcase gas heating system, so it is now better adapted to the Russian winter, according to the Telegram channel "Trucks and in General."
In severe frosts, when the temperature dropped below -25 °C, the diesel engine began to malfunction.
Sollers engineers added electric heating - and thus solved the problem.
In the future, this two-liter diesel engine will be installed on UAZ "Patriot", "Pickup" and "Profi" cars.
Owners of Argo vans purchased earlier can receive the crankcase gas electric heating function free of charge, the authors of the "Trucks and in General" public page clarified. To do this, you need to contact an official dealer.
As a reminder, the fact that UAZ will launch sales of "Patriot" with a Chinese engine localized in Russia became known in 2023. The engine will be combined with a 6-speed manual transmission.
Earlier www1.ru wrote that UAZ "Patriot", "Pickup", "Bukhanka" have significantly increased in price in Russia. The reason was the release of new car models.
