Solaris has denied information about the reduction of the dealer network and the cessation of production in Russia. Currently, the brand has six dealerships, AGR told Autonews.ru.

Earlier, the AutoRun SPb Telegram channel wrote that there are fewer Solaris dealers in St. Petersburg. Allegedly, there are now only four of them. However, AGR emphasized that there will be no stoppages or reductions in production volumes at the Solaris car plant in St. Petersburg. The company assured that Hyundai Solaris — also known as Solaris HS — will be produced in Russia for a long time to come.
Currently, Solaris cars are produced at a plant in St. Petersburg, where Hyundai Solaris, Hyundai Creta, and Kia Rio were previously made. In 2024, AGR Automotive Group bought the plant and established the production of Solaris cars. To do this, the company uses parts from Hyundai and Kia, and also cooperates with local suppliers.
At the moment, AGR Automotive Group has six dealerships in St. Petersburg. The company is actively expanding its presence in the Russian market, focusing on the needs of local customers.
As a reminder, the Hyundai plant in St. Petersburg stopped producing cars in March 2022. Hyundai Motor decided to sell its production sites. AGR Automotive Group announced a large-scale rebranding of the dealer network, consisting of 400 companies. As a result, the prefix Хёндэ was removed from the name Hyundai Solaris.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Solaris line includes renamed Hyundai Solaris, Creta, Kia Rio and Rio X-line. The cars are assembled according to the full production cycle, using 230 industrial robots.
