Fighters of one of the Russian units created a light multiple launch rocket system based on the domestic UAZ Patriot pickup truck. The first footage of the new product has already appeared on the network.
The photographs show a launcher with 15 guides. The caliber of the ammunition is not specified, but it can be assumed that these are unguided 80-mm S-8 aviation missiles, widely used by Su-25 attack aircraft, as well as Mi-8, Mi-28, Mi-35, Ka-52 and Ka-29 helicopters.
Advanced versions of such NARs have a range of up to 6,000 meters, but the most widespread are options capable of hitting at a distance of up to 4,000 meters.
Various warheads are used on the "eights": volumetric detonating, cumulative fragmentation, with ready-made striking elements (up to 2000 "arrows"), lighting, concrete-piercing and others.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Rostec transferred another batch of Su-57 and Su-35S fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces. The winged vehicles have passed a full cycle of factory tests.
