Корону потеряли: в Молдавии приостановила работу система денежных переводов «Золотая корона»

Zolotaya Korona remained the last system that allowed money transfers to Moldova from the Russian Federation

The Zolotaya Korona money transfer system, which remained the last platform for money transfers between the republic and Russia, has suspended operations in Moldova.

Local banks that previously cooperated with this system have stopped providing such services for an indefinite period. Eurocreditbank's website reported that transfers were suspended for operational adjustments and efforts are being made to resume the service as soon as possible.

Earlier, other Russian transfer systems, such as Unistream and Kontakt, ceased operations in Moldova after the country joined anti-Russian sanctions. Now, Moldovan residents, a significant part of whom work abroad, including in Russia, are facing additional difficulties in sending funds home, which complicates the situation for the republic's economy.
