In August, sales of Xcite X-Cross 7 cars doubled to 1,005 units, according to Maxim Kadakov, editor-in-chief of Za Rulem magazine.
He noted that only 550 of these cars were sold in July. The sharp increase in sales can be attributed to the price reduction, which lowered the price from 2.5 to 2.2 million rubles.
In total, 2,359 Xcite X-Cross 7 crossovers have been sold since the start of sales in May through August 2024. The model is assembled at the former Nissan plant in St. Petersburg.
The ground clearance of the XCite X-Cross 7 is 190 mm, and the car's dimensions are 4500 x 1842 x 1702 mm. The car is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with 147 hp. The transmission is a CVT. It is capable of transmitting a torque of 280 N·m. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 9.8 seconds.
All X-Cross 7 trim levels will receive a "winter package." It includes heated front and rear seats, steering wheel, windshield, and exterior mirrors, as well as heated windshield washer nozzles.
Earlier, photos emerged of an AvtoVAZ site filled with new LADA Vesta cars. The cars are not being delivered to dealers because the fire hazard issue has not been resolved.
