The Main Radio Frequency Center (FSUE "GRChTs", subordinate to Roskomnadzor) warned providers about the inadmissibility of speeding up Youtube.
After the video hosting slowdown, many clients began to abandon the services of providers, because their Internet connection did not allow them to fully use Youtube. Then the telecom operators decided to speed up the platform.
These actions are perfectly legal, since Roskomnadzor did not issue an official ban. For the full operation of Youtube, the technology of redirecting traffic from Russian Google servers to foreign ones was used.
As a result, companies began to receive warning letters from FSUE "GRChTs". They reported that a violation of traffic routing could lead to restriction of access to the Internet resource.
