Kurganmashzavod of the High-Precision Complexes holding (part of Rostec) has shipped infantry fighting vehicles and airborne assault vehicles to the Russian army as part of the state defense order.
The BMP-3 and BMD-4M combat vehicles are equipped with additional protection kits that provide cover for the side projection from cumulative ammunition and the upper hemisphere from unmanned aerial vehicles. Also, each combat vehicle is equipped with electronic warfare devices.
Rostec noted that in the seven months of 2024, the volume of combat vehicle deliveries exceeded the entire volume of 2022 by 1.5 times. This year, as part of the tasks set, Kurganmashzavod is fulfilling additional obligations to supply BMP-3s in excess of the volumes provided for in the schedule.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Rosaviatsiya for the first time issued an airworthiness certificate for a fixed-wing UAV. The OG-003 drone is capable of moving cargo weighing up to 20 kg.
