Serial production of the Chaborz M-4 buggy is scheduled to begin in Russia in 2025, according to Jamal Al-Deleimi, Head of the Wheeled Vehicles Laboratory at Bauman Moscow State Technical University.
He emphasized that the vehicle is assembled from Russian components and parts.
The Chaborz M-4 buggy is planned to be launched into serial production in 2025 after all necessary tests are conducted. By creating this SUV, we aim to ultimately replace similar buggies of Chinese production.
The buggy received an original transfer case, which improves the traction characteristics of the Chaborz. According to Al-Deleimi, the testing of the prototype vehicle will be completed by the end of 2024.
The Chaborz M-4 buggy will be able to reach a maximum speed of up to 90 km/h with a curb weight of 1200 kg, having a range of 500 km.
