The Russian small missile ship "Sovetsk" of Project 22800 cipher "Karakurt" has been retrofitted with the 9A331MK-1 "Tor-M2" anti-aircraft missile combat module. This was noted by the Telegram channel @RussianArms.
He recalled that four target channels of the small-element PFAR guidance radar and the increased speed of 9M338K anti-aircraft guided missiles up to 1000 m/s provide a fire performance of up to 10 targets per minute.
The complex is also capable of effectively intercepting promising AGM-158C LRASM anti-ship missiles.
The Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system is designed for air defense against attacks by aircraft, helicopters, cruise missiles, anti-radar and other guided missiles, gliding and guided aerial bombs, and unmanned aerial vehicles.
Earlier www1.ru reported that naval artillery AK-100 and AK-630 were involved in repelling drone attacks. Surface targets were also destroyed by fire from large-caliber machine guns and small arms.
