The new small missile ship "Amur" of Project 22800, code "Karakurt", wasaccepted into the Russian Navy.
The ship will be protected from the air by the "Pantsir-M" anti-aircraft missile and artillery system produced by the Tula KBP of the "High-Precision Systems" holding.

Earlier, one of the ships equipped with the naval "Pantsir", while on combat duty, successfully shot down a Storm Shadow missile.
Characteristics of the "Pantsir-M" SAM system:
- Module weight without ammunition - 5500 kg
- Projectile weight - 0.83 kg
- Initial projectile velocity - 1120 m/s
- Total rate of fire - 10000 rounds/min
Areas of destruction:
- missile armament in range - 1500-20000 m
- missile armament in height - 2-15000 m
- artillery armament in range - 500-4000 m
