Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) is developing a project for 3D printing of houses. This was reported by the press service of the university.
According to the developer, this direction will become popular in Russia.
In Russia, 3D construction printing is not yet so popular, there are currently only three large companies developing in this direction. However, more than 1,000 objects have already been printed in our country using this method.
The main goal of the project is to provide services for the construction of small architectural forms, from modeling to printing. It is assumed that the customer will be able to participate in the development of housing. For decoration, it is planned to use lumobeton that glows in the dark.
The construction of a house using 3D printing begins with assembling a printer for the specified dimensions of the house. The project plans to use ready-made devices.
In my startup, the calculation is based on the market for individual housing construction – buildings no more than two stories high and up to 100 square meters. As a result, these will be turnkey ready-made houses.
In the near future, the polytechnic student will begin developing the project. 1 million rubles have been allocated for its implementation by the Innovation Promotion Fund.
Earlier www1 reported that Rosatom scientists developed a 3D printer for printing products from refractory materials.
