AvtoVAZ has already started assembling the LADA Iskra model on the assembly line, but so far this is only the initial stage of the process. According to insiders, many components for the cars have not yet arrived, and therefore the cars are coming off the assembly line "in a semi-disassembled state."
Despite this, even such assembly is important, as various technological stages that will be used in mass production are being tested during this process. Personnel training is also currently underway.
According to insiders, it is planned to establish the assembly process by the end of the year, produce "pre-series" models, and begin mass production in the first quarter of 2025.
