The ship's trawling group, which includes the newest Project 12700 minesweepers "Yakov Balyaev" and "Anatoly Shlemov" from the water area protection unit of the Troops and Forces in the northeast of Russia, went on an anti-sabotage patrol from the base.
During the upcoming tasks, the ships will perform tasks to search for and destroy bottom mines using contact and non-contact trawls. The minesweeper crews will practice the skills of destroying floating mines by detonation using small boats, including unmanned boats, available on the ships. According to him, a complex of radiation, chemical and biological reconnaissance vehicles, laboratory equipment, and biological reconnaissance devices are also being set up, which are used in conjunction with the FMBA.
When leaving Avacha Bay, the minesweepers completed the tasks of anti-sabotage patrol and began control and reconnaissance search and detection of mines on the transition route. To search for mines, sailors use modern automatic "Diez" complexes and sonar stations for searching for mines "Livadia-ME".
"Diez-E"
The automated mine action control system is designed to operate both a single minesweeper and mine-sweeping groups. Its tasks include:
- collection, processing and display of the tactical situation;
- planning mine action of a single ship and a mine-sweeping group;
- navigation support (including dynamic positioning;
- providing combat and tactical maneuvering of a single ship and a trawling group, including when using contact and non-contact trawls, underwater vehicles;
- providing control of ships of the trawling group, as well as trawling helicopters;
- management of combat and technical means of the ship;
- providing air defense for the ship and the trawling group;
- information support for the ship's crew in the fight for the ship's survivability;
- training of ship combat crews.
When working on a ship alone, "Diez-E" can find and control a maximum of 15 surface ships, 80 underwater objects, 5 air targets, 5 helicopter minesweepers and 5 underwater vehicles.
If "Diez-E" works with a tactical group, the number of processed targets increases. The system will track 60 surface ships, up to 100 units of underwater objects, and three copies of air targets and helicopter minesweepers.
