PAO Avtodizel (part of the GAZ Group) has created a modified version of the YaMZ-537 CNG gas engine.
The engine is equipped with a distributed gas injection system with electronic control and forced spark ignition. This 6-cylinder engine model is equipped with cylinders measuring 110 x 135 mm, and a working volume of — 7.7 liters.
The YaMZ-537 CNG engine also differs from its counterparts in this series, it has a compression ratio reduced to 11. The power range — from 210 to 300 hp, torque — from 830 to 1250 Nm.
The new version will meet the standards of Euro-5 norms. Power — 327 hp
The manufacturer is already preparing to create a modification of this engine on liquefied methane. It will be developed for the Ural plant.
