ROS Chief Designer Vladimir Kozhevnikov stated in July that artificial intelligence is planned to be used in the creation of the station. At the recently concluded "Army-2024" forum, it became known that neural networks will work with the ROS even after it is created and begins operating in space.
According to IA "TASS", citing representatives of RSC "Energia", which is part of the Roscosmos State Corporation, neural networks will help with data processing.
Neural networks have proven themselves as a tool for processing large amounts of data to determine complex nonlinear dependencies. First of all, this tool is planned to be used in processing arrays of target information obtained during the operation of the payload.
At the same time, "reliable and proven control algorithms" will be used to solve service tasks on the ROS in order to perform all the necessary actions in an emergency situation. All commands for computing facilities, actions of the MCC and the crew, if it is on the ROS at the time of a critical emergency situation, have a strict sequence that must be followed.
The International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2024" was held at the Patriot Exhibition and Convention Center from August 12 to 14. The "Army" forum this year was organized in a closed format for the first time: all entertainment events and free access to the expositions for viewers were canceled.
