The "Kurgandormash" plant, in collaboration with the South Ural State University (SUSU), has launched the production of sweepers with a hybrid engine.
The first batch of 10 machines is planned for release this year. They are designed for cleaning dirt and debris from streets, sidewalks, parks, and residential complexes.
The UKM-5000 model is highly efficient — three times higher than conventional machines. The machine has a compact and maneuverable design, and is also equipped with a special chassis and planetary gearbox to increase cleaning efficiency.
The UKM-5000 project is part of the "Smart Eco-City" initiative. It aims to develop modern cleaning machines to improve the quality of the urban environment.
