Triada-TKO LLC (part of the Kalashnikov concern) has finally shown the complete all-weather field uniform kit — VKPO 3.2 for military personnel at the Army-2024 forum. Its predecessor, VKPO 3.0, is already being used by the military.
The manufacturer has combined summer and all-weather suits into one for year-round use. The new version dries quickly, protects from precipitation and wind, and has high breathability.
The VKPO 3.2 also includes fleece underwear, a fleece jacket, an insulated suit, and a hat. These items are intended for use in cold weather.
Due to improved thermal insulation properties, the new winter version of the suit is comfortable to use at temperatures from -30 to -35°. Also, the insulated suit has become 20% more compact than its predecessor, now taking up less space. A windproof suit is provided in the kit for protection from the wind.
The kit also includes two pairs of gloves and two pairs of mittens. In cold weather, it is recommended to use insulated gloves and three-finger mittens. They are compatible with each other and provide protection for hands from low temperatures and moisture. Insulated mittens are provided for arctic climates.
In the summer season, soldiers are offered to use summer gloves, which, among other things, have fire-resistant properties. They can be worn while working with multimedia devices.
The VKPO 3.2 includes several types of sleeping bags — a three-season "sleeping bag", a multifunctional sleeping bag-blanket, and a sleeping bag for arctic climates. The volume of sleeping bags has also been reduced by 20%. Compared to analogues that have already been supplied to the army, the new ones have improved thermal insulation.
A waterproof bivouac bag is provided for protection from precipitation.
It is worth noting that Triada-TKO will transfer the new all-weather field uniform kit — VKPO 3.2 for testing. It will be tested in the field. Further modernization of the kit will depend on the test results.
