The Vice President of the National Automobile Union (NAS), Yan Khaitseer, has started receiving calls and messages from unknown people. They were unhappy with his comments about the UAZ "Bukhanka". Khaitseer was cursed and threatened with being "punched". The expert believes that these could be "Bukhanka" fans.
Khaitseer stood by his opinion and emphasized that the SUV has no place on public roads, but it would look good in the army. There, the NAS Vice President believes, the car could be turned into a military machine.
It is worth noting that the Russian military definitely has one modified "Bukhanka". It has three guides for a 122-mm multiple launch rocket system installed.
It is worth recalling that Khaitseer previously stated that the "Bukhanka" is not compatible with the current time and safety, therefore it should be recognized as special equipment. In addition, the expert believes that the cost of the car is unjustified, and Russians buy it due to the lack of other options.
