"Yandex TV stations" have received an update that leaves only movies and TV series that are interesting to users, as well as favorite applications and TV channels, on the main screen.
They will be selected based on preferences, and cartoons will not be included in adult content, and a child will not see what is suitable for adults.
The "likes" and "dislikes" mechanism that works in the feed will help the virtual assistant "Alice" offer users content based on their preferences. As soon as a person starts the station for the first time, "Alice" will ask you to choose a few favorite movies or TV series to find out their taste.
The update also brought to the set-top box the ability to continue watching from where the user left off. For example, if he was watching a movie on his smartphone in the "Kinopoisk" application, by turning on the movie through the set-top box, he will be able to continue watching from the stopped fragment.
