Sales of "Sobol NN", equipped with all-wheel drive, should start in Russia in the near future. The car will be offered in five body types, including vans: all-metal and passenger, truck, minibus and just a chassis without superstructures.
The power unit for all body types will be the same: a 2.5-liter turbodiesel. Power — 150 horsepower. Quite enough for the car, the torque is considerable — 420 Newton meters. The gearbox is a six-speed manual of GAZ's own development. The plant promises that the "six-speed" will have a service life of at least 300,000 kilometers. The car has a part-time all-wheel drive.
This is not an upgrade of the 5-speed gearbox. The advantage of the model is a wider range of gear ratios, which is one of the most important qualitative characteristics.
Even the basic configuration will please the driver with options: there is climate control, heated seats, steering wheel and windshield, as well as rear-view mirrors. There is also a media system — you can't do without such an option these days, as well as parking sensors.
